What I liked
I left speechless. This show is beautifully done, and I was inspired by Helena’s message of keeping Gilda in the limelight. I honestly could’ve watched the show longer, I was so buckled to my seat. Helena is a comic genius in her own right, brilliantly telling the story of another comic genius. I couldn’t believe how many emotions I went through watching this lovely homage. Helena embraced every moment, and as an audience member, I was/wanted to be with her.
In short, along with the story being wonderful, Helena is the PERFECT person to be taking on this icon. She has the chops, is beyond hilarious herself, and mesmerizing onstage. Helena and Gilda are the best team I’ve ever seen!
What I didn't like
to be honest, I cannot think of one thing. This show is 5 stars, no question!!!
My overall impression
SEE THIS SHOW! I’ve now seen about ten shows at the Fringe, and this was my favorite:) Truly, if you want to experience enthralling, amazing theatre, this is the show not to miss!!!
