My overall impression
Everyone in the theater related on many levels to Maybeland’s comedic and somber moments-great writing -great acting. The story candidly examines complicated relationships that make up family dynamics-shared experiences,laughter,angst, fragility and resilency. At times I laughed out loud and at times I was in tears. The range and strength of emotions exhibited by the actors and the chemistry between them touched my heart. The comments and reactions of the audience indicated they also were moved by the experience. I left the theater moved, and a week later I am still reflecting.
