The Songs of the Fall

My overall impression

Overhyped and disappointing, and better named “Songs for the Faithful”, this religious tract has a vapid script and songs with insipid lyrics and rinky-tink music, sung mostly by non-singing inexperienced actors. It is simply bad storytelling and is NOT musical! (It often hurt my ears!) An unadvertised warning sign of another vanity production is having the composer and writer also as the lead actor. Go to church for better theater, entertainment and storytelling. Amen….
