The Load-In

My overall impression

“The Load-In” is a lot of fun—David Svengalis creates a show that makes effective use of the dark and funky-cool atmosphere of “The Three Clubs” bar with a clever set-up: an actual load-in event that happens to be taking place in the actual bar. Loaded with snappy and original one-liners, irreverent and at times goofy characters, naturalistic acting and a pleasantly surprising live performance at the show’s end, “The Load-In” is brisk and entertaining and a refreshing new twist on the concept of “live performance.”
