My overall impression
I was not expecting this. I saw the poster and the title and thought this might be a little bit of light entertainment, if possibly a little banal. I went in anyway, since I happened to be early for another show and had an hour to kill… I could have not been more wrong- it was absolutely brilliant..!! Yes, it was funny, and it was also clever with plenty of unexpected turns and twists, sooo very charming and at times positively gut wrenching. I am not ashamed to admit I had to discreetly dab a tearful eye a couple of times… The writing is on point, the acting phenomenal- and the direction so crisp and wonderfully tight. I loved it. I was in awe. Please go see it. :)
