My overall impression

As a long-time Tony Danza fan (perhaps because I never had to work with him during my years in The Biz), this caught my attention immediately and was my first ticket purchase for this year’s festival! As a mimic, DAMIAN LUVARA is breath-taking, sliding along the knife-edge between recognizable Reality and Parody with great, great skill. I’d love to see him do another role—-if he can! The rest of the cast is excellent, too, and sometimes funny—-but the script is Something Else: an Absurdist concoction indeed, inhabiting a Parallel Universe to the actuality of the genesis of WHO’S THE BOSS? Why go so far afield to make up something? The Truth Was Bad Enough!
It might be better to parody Tony’s two-season talk show, and bring on the WHO’S THE BOSS? cast for a reunion, as he did.
