My overall impression
I really appreciated the beginning of these amazing vignettes stating with traditional drum/song. It took me back to Flagstaff Powwow’s in the 60’s. I knew most of the stories of the hideous treatment of our native people, but it still brought tears to my eyes. I didn’t mind the sparse props or scene changes since I was very wrapped up in the performance. With such a boulder-crushingly heavy subject, it was great that a little bit of humor was added in. I would like to see it transformed into a 2.5-hr. production.
I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in ANYTHING having to do with Native American Indians. BRAVO!
