My overall impression
Marriage as economic contract and marriage proposal as an anti-romantic event are the statements of this humorous play by Checkov. The sharp, witty and fast-moving direction interweaves the dialogue based actions and reactions. Captivating and brilliant are the performances of the actors trio. Kudos to the production team. A must see!
