Big fan of Abbys work. For years. She doesn't disappoint. There is bittersweetness and laughs and a spontaneity and a musicality. And a few swear words. Can't go wrong. ... full review

I literally had to take a few days to digest U and Me and my best friend P. There are not many people who are a force to be reckon'd with--Abby is one of those people. The power, the depth, the childlike beauty the poetry, the set pieces made with her hands, the program! All together was a beautiful reminder in the magic and necessity of story-telling. The punch the poems give to the solar plexus is quid unexpected, her sheer imagination & ability to draw her audience in and think while laughing was magic to see. I held back a few tears, I belly laughed, I sat in stunned silence. This show has only just began- ... full review

Abby is a brilliant poet. Her sheer imagination will open your soul and empty its contents on the floor. She rides the stage and pours her heart to every person in their seat. Go see this show and you will remember you are alive. I want to be at every performance just to see what takes place in Abby's world.... full review

Abby is a super talent. Funny, smart, sophisticated, poignant, and fun. Great show. I brought my kids, 12 and 9. They loved it. Some of the humor is a bit raunchy for kids, but the context made it okay. Can't wait to experience Abby's next creation!... full review

Abby Schachner is a wonderful, innovative creator and performer. I first saw her in Schachner vs. Schachner and I was so moved and touched by the show that I kept coming back. U and Me does NOT disappoint. Wonderful poetry with a new touch that gives hope to children for their future. Abby is always surprising and creative and hilarious. I love her "letters" and I never know what she's going to do next. Definitely a show not to be missed.... full review

Oh Wow! I'd never seen an Abby Schachner show before so I wasn't quite sure what to expect - I'd heard great things but I had no idea how brilliant and funny and captivating she is. This show is just freaking fun and funny and unexpected. Not to be missed. Especially if you find the English language to be awesome.... full review

If you love english, and I do, you'll love this mind-bending, word-twisting, fast-paced ride through the dictionary. Abbey is clever, witty, smart and a stellar performer. Never have I enjoyed poetry so much as when it's intertwined in children's stories. This is a unique reminder that language is what connects us all. Hoorahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!... full review

A poet. An author. A comedienne. A songstress. The list goes on. Abby is so spectacular and brilliant and this show should not be missed. There will be laughter and a tear or two. (and a swear, here and there) I loved every minute of it and wanted more, more and more!! I can't wait til these beautiful pieces can be turned into a book or a series or a tv show. But for right now, they are so eloquently and rawly performed by the amazing and beautiful Abby. These poems and songs are for the old and for the young. Come one, come all! A stands for Abby and she is awesome!!!... full review
