My overall impression
I literally had to take a few days to digest U and Me and my best friend P. There are not many people who are a force to be reckon’d with—Abby is one of those people. The power, the depth, the childlike beauty the poetry, the set pieces made with her hands, the program! All together was a beautiful reminder in the magic and necessity of story-telling. The punch the poems give to the solar plexus is quid unexpected, her sheer imagination & ability to draw her audience in and think while laughing was magic to see. I held back a few tears, I belly laughed, I sat in stunned silence. This show has only just began-
