About the Project

Sick by Bekah Brunstetter- “B” drags her promiscuous best friend “E” with her to the clinic to get tested after an unfortunate drunken encounter with Birthday Man. As the two girls are stuck waiting for their test results, they are haunted by their previous sexual encounters, and confronted with the realities of their futures.

Information by Nicole Quinn- A group of college students, victims of sexual assault, share their stories, confronting stereotypes and myths on sexual abuse.

Medusa of Forty-Seventh Street by Nancy Wallace Handerson- A comic treatment of varieties of prejudice in a TV brokers office. Where the innocent Delia meets and the street wise Althea. The two women face off and discover whether hate or love will win in the end.

Elephant´s Graveyard by George Brant- is a play based on the true events that took place in September of 1916 when the town of Erwin Tennessee lynched a circus elephant named Mary. The play is written in monologue form, and is performed by a cast of thirteen characters using rhythm, sound, and stage movement to carry the story along. This play captures the tragic beauty of a depression era circus, and forces you to question the value of a life.
