Set sail for adventure! This one person performance (with help from audience members) is a fantastic child-friendly interpretation of the classic odyssey. My son had already seen this production at his school in May and he said he wanted to see it again. The performance enthralled the 8, almost 12, and 13 boys that were iny group. I loved it as well - please go see it especially with the little ones.... full review

A great one-man performance bringing not only the adventure and excitement of The Odyssey, but engaging the audience as well! Part performer, part teacher, always in control, Feinman does a fantastic job of bringing the timeless epic to life with one costume, a long stick, and a handful of chairs. Fun and educational for kids, engaging and funny to adults, extremely well-written and expertly performed. ... full review

Voyage of Odysseus is as much fun for adults as it is for children thanks to Josh Feinman’s wild exuberance and storytelling prowess. Josh has taken the elaborate tale of Homer’s The Odyssey and pared it down in details and length so kids can understand it. Audience participation lifts the performance and spirits of all. Fun stuff!... full review

Okay, I'll admit I'm not a fan of theatre. But I love a good story. And Josh Feinman's Voyage of Odysseus is story-telling at it's finest. And as little as I know about Greek Mythology, I feel like I got a totally accessible take on this well-fabled Odyssey. Feinman's commitment to delivering a high-brow/low-brow, all-in performance held me every step of the way. My four year old (who rarely volunteers for anything), leapt to the stage when Odysseus asked for sailors to come along on the journey. Along with kids, adult audience members were also brought up to participate. And even if you are not onstage, you can't sit back and watch. Feinman invites you to grab an oar and engage in this Odyssey, truly making it your own. Part t... full review

Want to inspire your kids with an early love of theater? This show is the perfect gateway! We took my 4-year-old daughter twice. Both times she volunteered to participate on stage, and both times she had an absolute blast. The performer, Josh, is terrific with kids of all ages, and kept them laughing, imagining, interacting and acting throughout. He puts so much energy and joy into his performance, it's no wonder the kids are so easily drawn into this ancient story. Truly a joy for parents and accessible for kids of all ages. Even our 1-year-old was entranced throughout the show. Bravo!... full review

What a surprise! It's was one thing to think that my 5 year old would enjoy this show, but let me tell you, I the parent, had a blast. Josh really got the kids going with audience participation and the performance was a reminder that LA does have good theater. Bravo!... full review
