My overall impression

Faster is a fine play. The juxtaposition of good, evil, theology and religion through gansta language made for an interesting and thoughtful play. The characters while hard to understand at first came to life, perhaps I got better at Gansta, Kitchen became understandable and moving despite his burning of the church. Skram was hateful. The acting so good I hated him. The dog man pathetic and hurt by life. I truly felt for him. The Man was both funny and entertaining yet chilling and scary. He was like Chaplin with parts of the Exorcist coming through. A wonderful performance. Again, enjoyed him yet was afraid of him. Would not want him over for dinner. Well acted and directed.

While the sound could be improved and the blinding center stage light moved back , I did see the preview staging so hopefully these simple fixes can be done prior to the regular run of shows.

The directing was well thought out and well planned. Travis Snyder-Eaton did a complex job and got the actors to give hateful and yet loving performances. Mr.Snyder-Eaton created a gansta abode filled with questions on life lived, not well lived and hatefully lived yet at the end I was sympathetic and understanding of an existence I can only hope to never experience. The director brought out the dichotomy within each character and I left feeling for each yet disliking some part of each. This includes the girl. What is not to like about a cute little girl…who gets her eyes shot out!!! Well played young lady!

I enjoyed the play. I left thinking about deep thoughts. Thank you cast and Director Snyder Eaton. I liked it greatly!!!
