My overall impression
This is a must see show! Peggy Sinnott and Alison Elliot give an irreverent take on the classic, but overdone play by the famous bard. I had a front row seat to all the action. The two ladies were on top of their game as they hit the ground running with the oh, so famous opening sonnet. Within seconds I was laughing with little room to breathe and I did not stop until they did their bows and after show jig.
If you are tired of seeing yet another take on R&J and want a reason to laugh at the play then come see this production from The Illyrian Players. You’ll be glad you did.
