My overall impression
I just moved to LA a year ago and hadn’t had even heard about Fringe Fest, but saw a posting for the Mudd the Magnificent show on the LA Weekly website, and naturally, I was curious.
Upon arriving 2 hours early by mistake, we waited in another theater for the show. When we heard the box office was open for tickets, we went outside immediately and found out that the show was one of the top shows at Fringe Fest and was already sold out. Refusing to give up, we put our names on the waiting list. As the seconds ticked down to showtime, the theater attendant notified us that we were able to get the last two seats in the show. Needless to say, we were excited!
As Mudd came on, he got the crowd riled up and ready for some comedy magic horror- again- so excited!
His magic tricks were amazing, and we were super impressed with the performance. Mudd really knew how to tell a story, get the audience involved, and make every second count!
Hands down one of the best single person magic shows I have seen in a long time! If you haven’t had the chance to see Mudd perform, you should do so soon!
