#SeeItLa
#SeeItLA - Brendan Hunt, as the morbid, pragmatic, dead-pan host Edgar Allen Poe had me from the beginning with the sophomoric humor, bad puns and historical/literary references. Set up as a mix between The Late Show with David Letterman and Saturday Night Live - complete with Top Ten, er Thirteen, list and commercials for fake products - this show is hysterical. There was even a special guest appearance from Shakespeare from the Three Clubs Shakespeare's Last Night Out. If you aren't well versed in Poe's era you will definitely miss quite a few of the references, but for a history/literary nut like me, this was great!...
