The Poe Show

My overall impression

Enter the “studio” take your seat and settle in for the David Allen Poe-tterman* Show! This is a concept so good that I wonder where it’s been all my life. Brendan Hunt (Poe) disappears so completely into this role that I almost can’t recognize him in the smiling headshot on the show page. His affect his perfect, and there were a few moments in the show where I think a small technical glitch occurred and Hunt in his Poe-sona reacted precisely as you would expect.

Hunt is supported by a strong ensemble supplying period guests, period advertisements, and period catastrophes! This show nails its concept and then some. Thoroughly entertaining and very inventive, don’t miss out!

*It’s actually The Poe Show, please forgive the portmanteau.
