My overall impression
This show was fantastic! Performances were outstanding! It truly captures the late-night talk-show vibe of anything-can-and-does-happen. Some the the best writing is in the “commercials” and segments that run the gamut of selling you the latest in menstruation technology (“are you still using pond moss? Pish! Ladies I give you RAGS!!”) to a post-Last Stand wrap up with Custer himself. You might be laughing hard but you won’t mis the clever social and political commentary that pokes fun at contemporary media and the way in which we are still condescendingly advertised to today (snake oil and the Donner party get a spot). Brendan Hunt is outstanding as Poe and the cast does a terrific job of bringing to life figures real and fictional (the segments with Mary Shelley, Dr. Frankenstein and his monster are hilarious). GO TO THIS SHOW!!!
