My overall impression
I absolutely loved WORDS FROM A CUBAN FATHER and have tickets to see it a second time! Alina Cenal’s performance is nothing short of amazing. From the moment she steps on the stage, Cenal draws the audience in with her powerful energy, lyrical storytelling, dance, and poignancy. Her and her father’s journey from Cuba to America, woven together in a series of flashbacks, touches the soul and has the audience laughing and crying. Alina Cenal is truly fantastic, and she presents the best one-person show I have ever seen! Bravo!
