My overall impression
Given this was the first play I had ever been to, I was uncertain what to expect or how everything could come together in order to keep my interest in a live and short story setting. I am more of a movie kind-a-girl. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. The actors had passion and conviction for the characters they became and the story was believable and heartfelt. I enjoyed some smiles, laughs, sadness, and most of all hope and deliverance as the story took me on a journey – one I could easily relate to. The plot was real and the emotions behind each scene were as if these characters actually existed. It was like watching a glimpse of real life and never did I have to use my imagination – I felt everything.
We all have times of desperation, fear, disbelief and lack of hope, but with a little love and encouragement, we can pull through the darkest of times. Lost in falling is a true testament to how people effect our lives, why we travel down the roads we travel and why we meet the ones we meet. There is always a calming after a storm and it’s enchanting to see where the wind blows you. I can definitely say that I was lost in falling, lost in the story and falling in love every second of it. Well done!
