What a fun show! Great script, great acting, great directing. This one could compete for some Fringe awards. Some real, dramatic moments mixed with some slapstick, witty humor, extreme (but believable) characters and a lot of heart. Honestly, everything one could look for in a show. A really terrific show. The sense of professionalism and craftsmanship on every level of this play is as vital as its sense of playfulness and humor. The dialogue sparkles, the jokes land perfectly without fail, the pace never lulls, the performers manage a balance of bombast and believability that hammers home the theme of our changing and frequently confusing world while managing not to preach or be pedantic. It's a rare thing that even a play this well written comes together as well as this one, and it's a testament to the hard work and talent of all involved. The script is very clever, the actors are hilarious, and the directing and staging of the show brilliantly brings the story to life in a way that allows for effortless, fun viewing.
