Comedia dell’arte skits on Shakespearean stories. It’s a little slow getting started but once it’s rolling, the five performers work very hard…and successfully…to entertain you. If you’re a Shakespeare lover, have no fear. It’s all kind of goofy fun. Especially notable are both Alex Makardish and Jeremy Hohn, who each do a terrific solo riff, one on the “players” from Midsummer Nights Dream and one on the great Will’s one-liners. It’s somewhere above “pretty good” and short of “amazing”.
