What I liked
The characters were great and the writing was a good mix of their personas and their catchphrases. If you know the video games, then you’d enjoy these characters.
The acting was perfect. They all really hit upon the characters well.
The fight choreography was excellent!
The voting was fun and interactive – a mix between Twitter, glowing wristbands, and coins. The audience really got into it.
What I didn't like
The show could be tighter. There were lags in between scenes, and at 90 minutes it adds up. I would have liked to see the scenes almost run into each other, building up the energy to the end. But the scenes themselves were great.
My overall impression
Your favorite video game characters play to the death in this Hunger Games parody.
