This show was a gamer girl’s dream. The cast embodied their various characters with aplomb and flexibility, which was essential for the improvisational aspects of the show. The fight scenes were on point, the dialogue witty and at times very wicked, and the interactive aspect really added to the experience. From the writing, to the combat, to the gaming inspired accompaniment, The Video Games was layered to perfection, and left me wanting to come back again to see some of the other possible outcomes. A must see for this year’s Fringe. I would hazard a guess that even the non-gamers out there would be swept up by this cast’s energy and have a good time.
