My overall impression
Ah the most useless of reviews, glowing praise for a show that has been sold out for weeks. But I’m doing it anyway, because this show, and these performers deserve it!
The “only way to see Les Miz” is my sum up. I have loved the original for almost 30 years, and I have seen some great performances in that time, but I can’t imagine docilely sitting back and watching that show even one more time.
Instead being greeted as I walk in by Madame Thenardier, chatting with various other under-trod and forgotten folk only to have the Man himself tell the tale of Les Miz with all of the tent-pole songs and a great deal of original humor this interactive experience is not to be missed!
Unfortunately as I noted, it has been sold out for weeks, I only got to see this show due to poor planning by some friends which resulted in an extra ticket. It’s always possible that someone will be a no show, so if you can’t get a ticket in advance, show up and hope for the best, you won’t be sorry.
