My overall impression
Jessie Proksa is definitely onto something here. Well observed, uniquely (well it is Fringe after all) presented, “I’m Not From Here” left me wondering about life in our modern western culture, what people deem to be important, and what might be being missed. I experienced a strange emotion welling up inside of me about half-way through her performance, triggered by an odd combination of disparate thoughts, that when artfully combined hit a human nerve precisely, as if executed by the hammer of a blacksmith.
