Jessie Proksa is an Artist with a capital A. I’m Not From Here takes you on a journey into her mind as Proksa puts her many talents on display. Her voice becomes hypnotic as you journey with her alter-ego Sylax from a strange house in Outer Space all the way to the foreign lands of Chicago, Kansas and Utah. The show is funny and sweet and includes some poignant critiques of our tech-obsessed culture. I invite you all to turn off your phone and to slow your life down for forty-five minutes, as you enjoy the laid back pace of a true Auteur.
