My overall impression
I watched the preview for “OTMH” and very much enjoyed it. It reminded me of the plays I see at the Taper. Engaging performances by actors who clearly have great direction and years of experience. The story and its themes are universal. Anyone who has ever loved will be find themselves in these characters. The production is solid; making full use of theater techniques. The twist at the end is surprising but delivered in a subtle and intelligent manner. Because it was a preview I’m eager to go back to see it later in the run to see how it evolved. Great job to all those involved!
