Only the Moon Howls is a personal, and moving hour into the lives of a couple over the span of their fourteen year relationship. The tenuous and fragile state of our love for that special someone is beautifully realized, as we are asked to reflect on the simple miracles in another which we often taken for granted. The performances are layered with the wonderful humor that often gets couples through tough and trying times. An hour of delight written and directed with sharp wit, delicious human foibles and a sweet vulnerability making us deeply care....

I've seen or heard many of Dean's plays, but this might be my favorite. It plays with time and reality and truth - a case where the structure supports the themes. One of those plays that builds this little ball of emotion in your chest that you have to scoop up and carry around with you all day. Very heartfelt show performed by wonderful actors (really wonderful!) I can't wait to see where it goes.

Wow! Just wow! This one will make you want to call your loved ones right away. A beautiful message brought to you in the form of an all-too-real drama with plenty of humor involved to truly take you on a roller coaster. A fantastic piece of theatre with great performances!...

Dean Bruggeman has written and directed a beautiful and heart-breaking show with engaging, moving, layered performances by its actors. Laura Pursell is a revelation in her portrayal of “Whitney” with her sensitivity, vulnerability and deep emotional access. I left the show deeply moved. Only The Moon Howls is a true gem. I highly recommend seeing it....
