The choices we make in life not only define us, they shape us. Life is never perfect and we must learn to expect the unexpected, but what if the unexpected crushes us, destroys us, almost as if we have been crippled? How far would you go to search for salvation when you know you are at a dead end? What in your life are you willing to lose due to fear? The Desperate Yogi is a beautiful story of one man's challenges as he struggles with HIV, desperate for a cure while trying adamantly to regain his life back to the way it once was. WOW! I was blown away by the story and the message of this play. Kudos to the production team for putting on a flawless Fringe production! The show started on time, ended on time and was very creative with their set and stage. The actors did a great job bringing their characters to life, especially the actors who portrayed the Hindu Gods. I do hope this show goes on past the Fringe so more audience can enjoy this production. ... full review

As a fan of Vincent's work last year I was excited to see what he and his team had to offer this year. Expected more campy high jinks with ample amounts of heart i settled in to be entertained by this new production. I couldn't have been more blown away. He kept all the heart left behind the camp and delivered an inspired heart felt piece full of whimsy and spirit. For a moment it felt as though you were actually in India with these characters as they discovered the many parts of their loves, lives and passions. I won't give away the story. I will only say that one should see this production. The script and direction are the showcases of this piece though the actors particularly the gods shine as well.
