My overall impression
Zip Ties is a funny, multi-level, tightly composed little gem of Kafka-esqe drama. Like mixing a deadpan gangster bleak of Guy Ritchie with the chaotic farce of Dario Fo, the play manages to unfold the tale as only the best short stories do: well-drawn, graphic novel characters, spitting snappy, rapid-fire dialogue, delivered with perfect timing in a nicely twisted plot. Perfect chemistry of acting and direction serve the writer well and the last 10 minutes is a wonder of choreographed excitement. Oh you dirty rats!
