What I liked
I especially appreciated the range of performances on display. Each act offered something distinct—whether it was humor, thought-provoking storytelling, or pure artistic experimentation. The performers’ commitment was clear, and their ability to connect with the audience made the evening both entertaining and memorable. I also liked how the show kept a good pace, ensuring there was never a dull moment.
What I didn't like
At times, the transitions between acts were slightly abrupt, which made the flow feel a little uneven. Allowing smoother or more intentional shifts between performances would help Speed Stars the audience settle into each piece more fully. Additionally, a bit more technical polish with lighting and sound could elevate the overall experience even further.
My overall impression
The Best of Albuquerque Fringe 2025 was a delightful celebration of creativity and artistic diversity. The show managed to capture the spirit of the festival with energy, bold ideas, and a genuine sense of community. It felt like a journey through many different voices and visions, yet tied together by the same passion for performance.
