My overall impression

I went into the theater, took in the stage, only occupied by a lone drum set, and my interest was immediately peaked. Then the Writer/Director, Eric Rudnick made a very concise curtain speech, explaining that this was 5 short plays w/a drum set in common & to please enjoy… Which I DID!! The two actors who played all the parts in each of the pieces, were a delight! Michael McColl was fantastic, giving rich flavor to every character. Brighid Fleming is a whirlwind of talent, lighting up the stage from every cell in her body, creating varied and complex layered characters that hold their own, a force to be reckoned with! In between scene changes the audience is left in the hands of a very capable and amazing drummer, Micheal Weissman, who if the actors and plays weren’t such a delight, you’d never want him to stop! Rudnick, manages to capture our imaginations and take us on a fun hour long journey that is moving, thought provoking, and even gives a little extra surprise at the end…. A wonderful Fringe experience!!! Go!!!
