My overall impression
“My Sister” is one of the best shows I’ve seen at Fringe this year. Emily and Elizabeth Hinkler are absolutely captivating as sisters in 1934 Berlin each trying to chase their dreams and ultimately survive the coming disaster. The script is beautifully written and expertly performed. I still was trying to catch my breath for hours after this show. Poignant and sincere, “My Sister” is one of this year’s theatrical gems. It’s at The Underground (and frankly, it takes a LOT for me to see anything off of Theatre Row!) but it’s worth the trip 10 times over. Go see it!
