Sitting through Sam and Geoffrey Rose' new musical was pure joy. The plot was fun, encouraging, and unpredictably fresh. Each song added dimension and delight as the audience laughed and tapped their feet and poked each other with approval. As I looked down the line at my friends and family I saw them grinning and giving me the occasional moon face 'this is great!'. The casting is superb, and gives one hope and fulfillment that LA's talent pool is awake, capable, and just plain fun to watch. I hope this little play gets to open up and breathe on a bigger stage where these folks can turn it even more loose. All I can say is their 7-year effort was worth it, and the songs were so well written and easy to follow. Go. Steve Hinkey... full review

I LOVED "PoP" the Musical. When is it going mainstream? I want to see it with sets and a bigger stage! This is definitely the little musical that could. "PoP" has LA written all over it! It must move forward with a larger venue and longer run. I really hope this musical gets the funding it needs to really showcase the wonderful talent, songs and story.
