If you’re looking for nipple tassels, acrobatics, and laughter, THE HALFWITS’ LASTHURRAH is a must-see at this year’s Fringe! As soon as you step into line you are enveloped by an overwhelming amount of positive energy from both the crew that helped put this show together and the audience waiting in anticipation to see what these clowns have created. This show makes the audience just as important as the characters on stage and it’s this sort of relationship that makes the audience sit at the edge of their chairs. There are very few times in theater where I fail to acknowledge the passage of time and this is one of them. I laughed throughout the whole show and when it finally ended it was hard to believe an hour had passed by. If you’re looking to laugh and make the search for parking worthwhile, THE HALFWITS’ LASTHURRAH is the show to see. In all honesty, my biggest disappointment of the whole night was coming to the realization that this was the only Four Clowns production I’ve had the opportunity to see. The hard work and commitment this company has is evident from the moment you purchase your ticket to the moment you leave the space. I look forward to seeing what else Four Clowns has to offer us in the future!
