My overall impression
A traditional burlesque/circus variety show with a twist. Lots of audience engagement, and chances to get involved in the fun. The acts vary in level of craft and complexity, as well as in content (opera, puppetry, burlesque, stilt walking, acrobatics), so there’s something for everyone, but always coming from a place of comedy and clowning. Following the main storyline, there are also some lovely moments of pathos and poignancy.
There were some really wonderful performances in this show, and if you go with an open mind and a primed sense of humor, expect to have a good night. Hooray for clowns!
