As a long time fan of all things Shakespeare and a somewhat recent convert to the cult of Breaking Bad, this was a must see Fringe show for me. Thank you goodness I bought my tickets early, cause this instant classic has a much-deserved sold out run.
The show is a perfect blend of humor, high-brow monologues, low-brow characters and machine guns. Major props to the brilliant writer who perfectly blended Elizabethan text with a very modern story, all done with wit and humor.
The cast (many of whom were doing double or triple duty) was charming and the set was completely bare, allowing the audience to focus purely on the language and acting. Spoilers abound, so Breaking Bad fans only!
This is a true Fringe triumph and I hope it gets a much-deserved extended run as part of the Best of Fringe.
