I was first enticed to this show when I had met the lovely creator, Heather Dowling and husband Mike Dowling at a Fringe event earlier in the year and then all of the buzz about the show made me ache to see what this was all about. Taking us on a journey from teenage Heather’s jobs as a waitress, shoe salesman and more up to the final moments of the show. All while guided through this journey by narrators Winnie and Karen, these polar opposite voices we have all experienced are a delight in watching their bickering back and forth throughout the performance. We are taken through all of the ups and downs and strange turns that some of us have only seen in movies on this wildly exciting and energizing recollection of the surprisingly eventful and enjoyable life of Heather and finally we are placed back down into our seats where the final question stands to be answered and pondered on as the curtain closes. Highly recommend this show and I can only hope that this becomes extended far beyond Fringe and can’t wait to see what Heather comes up with next!
