My overall impression
A fast-paced, very funny and ultimately moving sprint through the many colorful jobs and colorful people in writer / actor Heather Dowling’s life. As a writer, she understands that the more specific she is, the more universal our recognition will be. As a performer, she brings a refreshing, clear-eyed sympathy to even the most unappealing people in her past. The result is riveting theatre… part stand up routine, part therapy, all wonderful. Anyone who has ever had a dream they had to put on the back burner while life intervened will recognize themselves in Heather’s amazing show. Highly recommended.
