Heather Dowling's one-woman show "Unemployed. Finally." is the most entertaining hour you could ask for. As you travel through her fascinating story, Heather infuses the journey with non-stop energy, a plethora of unique characters, more laughs than I could count, and even a few moments of genuine poignancy. Her talent as a writer and performer is apparent. Not everyone can transform an audience for an hour, but Heather does. She comes alive on this stage. It's her personal story and that's what makes this such an authentic experience. Go see this play!... full review

Heather's one-woman show was excellent! She is hilarious and has great characters. What also was impressive was the emotional depth she explored in her one-woman show. She had me at the ends of the emotional spectrum as I laughed and cried on the drop of a dime. I felt inspired and impressed with her talent. I am certain she'll be doing more roles in the Hollywood area as an authentic, talented performer. With all the various characters in the show, she displayed an amazing range. I recommend this show to everyone!! I loved it.... full review

Wow. This performance of Unemployed. Finally. was nothing short of breathtaking. I laughed, I cried, I literally traveled a span of 25 years in an hour and I was so engaged in the performance that the timw flew by. This is a tale of a beautiful young woman struggling with the idea of going for her dream vs getting a 9 to 5 job. there are so many different characters that Heather protrays and they are all unique and memorable with their different accents and demeanors. The story is rich with hiding truths like how we cycle in the same circumstances until the life lessoned is learned. HEHeather finally learned her lesson 30 jobs later and did the thing she was meant to do. ACT. Watch out world a star is here.... full review

A fast-paced, very funny and ultimately moving sprint through the many colorful jobs and colorful people in writer / actor Heather Dowling's life. As a writer, she understands that the more specific she is, the more universal our recognition will be. As a performer, she brings a refreshing, clear-eyed sympathy to even the most unappealing people in her past. The result is riveting theatre... part stand up routine, part therapy, all wonderful. Anyone who has ever had a dream they had to put on the back burner while life intervened will recognize themselves in Heather's amazing show. Highly recommended.... full review
