My overall impression
Harmony Jupiter did what we should all be lucky enough – and BRAVE enough!- to do. She took a tragic, heart-breaking experience, and turned it into an inspiring work of art. She left nothing out – all the most vulnerable moments, the beautiful, the comical, the heart-breaking turn of events of how she coped with abuse, addiction, and the loss of her sister to a hit-and-run driver at the early age of 25. She poured her experience into an album’s worth of thoughtful lyrics and well-written music, creating a CD as well as a live and interactive piece of theatre. The audience was engaged and rooting for her throughout the entire show, and as an added bonus, many of us were fortunate enough to get to play the chicken-shake along with her during the finale. A++, Girl!
