Harmony Jupiter did what we should all be lucky enough - and BRAVE enough!- to do. She took a tragic, heart-breaking experience, and turned it into an inspiring work of art. She left nothing out - all the most vulnerable moments, the beautiful, the comical, the heart-breaking turn of events of how she coped with abuse, addiction, and the loss of her sister to a hit-and-run driver at the early age of 25. She poured her experience into an album's worth of thoughtful lyrics and well-written music, creating a CD as well as a live and interactive piece of theatre. I LOVED this production. I wanted to see how Harmony transformed tragedy into art. It was very thought provoking. Harmony bared her soul. She started with a very strong and powerful trigger with the loss of her sister who was killed by a drunk driver. Then, Harmony took us on her journey of her dark road addiction and her path to recovery and healing. She went places that others would not dare to go. She really exposed her emotional truth at the deepest level. She took risks and this is what makes it connect with the audience. If you want to know how to reveal your emotional truth so that you can begin to heal, you must see this production. It was wonderful - I loved it. Cyrenne shared many rough moments of her adventurous, tough, sad, but also beautiful and exciting life with us. The music she created is as special as her performance. An incredibly touching and brave performance by a beautiful woman, inside and out. Harmony has just the right ingredients of confidence, vulnerability, joy, expressiveness, and guts to do this show and concoct it into a splendid show. What an honor to watch as sisters ourselves.
