My overall impression
I was so looking forward to seeing this show and it was everything I had anticipated. The experiences of the characters touched my heart in so many ways because I went through precisely the same experience when I lost my own brother 4 years ago. Every life touches so many others in ways they can never imagine and that message came through so well. The fact that Baines had kept all the tickets from events he had gone to reminded me of myself. I keep all my movie, ballgame, concert and other event tickets. It’s a reminder of the good times in life that we should all celebrate and that we should not dwell on our differences.
I especially loved how the actors flowed through the scenes seemlessly. The actors all fit their roles perfectly.
One thing I look for in a performance of any kind is whether I can easily tell the characters apart. This allows me to follow the storyline easily and this was certainly the case. Each character was instantly recognizable. Also, I loved the way the ensemble contains actors of all ages. This makes the story believable and true to life. Don’t miss this show!!
