My overall impression
Great window into how 1970s inside the Big Apple isn’t much different than the life we face now. A woman escaping from a dull Midwest marriage meets a creative copywriter who’s unsuccessfully started an ad company; their witty acerbic repartee is funny, revealing, smart and fast paced. The actors are both spot on in their performances, intellectually stimulating with great physical presence. The material couldn’t be more timeless yet authentic — D.B. Gillis wrote the piece decades ago. Go see it.
