My overall impression
“Daughter Of” is an honest , heartfelt and enjoyable look through the keyhole of a world most of us are not privy to…the inside world of Broadway! This personal tale of life lived under the filter of a famous parent is both funny and moving . Through marvelous music and amusing antidotes , Susannah Blinkoff takes us backstage and into what It was like to grow up in that ratified air, exploring both the positive and negative effects such a life can bring. An accomplished song writer herself, Blinkoff blends the music of mom Carol Hall, with her own contemporary songs, and creates a beautifully crafted smorgasbord of rich emotions. Accompanied by her marvelous three piece ensemble , and well directed by Stan Zimmerman, this Is a show very well done and a show very well worth seeing. I loved it.
