My overall impression
“Daughter Of…” is a musical memoir, written and performed by singer/actress/songwriter Susannah Blinkoff. In a performance that has the feel of a wonderful, juicy conversation, Blinkoff intertwines life, love, laughs and art and pays tribute to the spell that her mother (composer/lyricist/singer) Carol Hall wove over her audience — while Blinkoff weaves a spell of her own! Blinkoff is expertly backed on guitar/keyboards, percussion and bass by the terrific John Ballinger, Ray McNamara and Mark Sims and beautifully directed with wit and flawless taste (as always) by the magnificently talented and creative Stan Zimmerman.
