My overall impression

This was such a touching, inspiring show! In just over an hour Susannah shares her story of growing up the daughter of composer Carol Hall, and weaves her mother’s songs, and her songs seamlessly through the story. Both mother and daughter have such a knack for writing songs that are so personal and yet so universal at the same time, songs that tell stories and have you humming along. And Susannah tells her story with an honest, humorous, raw, courageous energy. It’s a journey of love between mother and child, between creativity and identity, and with self. Do yourself a favor and see it!!!
