My overall impression
Shock Treatment was an engaging look at what it would be like to reconnect with someone you knew from high school after 20 years. Many of us do wonder what it would be like… probably awkward. I thought the venue, iO West, was the perfect place, because the audience felt like they were in this lounge type environment, as the high school band played onstage and the two girls shared a few drinks and a few stories. Their fast paced, humorous banter kept the show moving along at a good pace. I kept thinking what it would be like to be in that situation. How much, if any, do we really change from high school?
