Thoroughly enjoyed. Acting and dialog owned me for entire play. Ending put CAPS on the insanity.... full review

Deeply talented actors who are working with material that demands so much commitment were it left in less capable hands would fall apart as unbelievable or TOO over the top, instead comes off as vivid, alive, and even relatable. I was super impressed- the writing was surprising and sharp, and the production team made the most out of a small, simple set. It's hard to get a small audience ot laugh a lot but with this show we didn't really have a choice. Great stuff.... full review

Pelfrey is a great playwright. Pure Shock Value skewers Hollywood and all the wannabes chasing the dream. PSV does it with a bravado that leaves Speed the Plow in the dust.... full review

This is a fantastically entertaining show and the perfect show for the Hollywood Fringe Festival. The actors are strong, reminding the audience of (themselves) any of a number of aspiring Hollywood types that fill the audience on any given night, and the depths that (we) they are willing to sink to get one lick at that shiny brass ring. The script by Pelfrey is entertaining and brought to a frenetic conclusion under JB Waterman's steady hand on the directorial tiller. See it! ... full review

Beside the humor and continuous laughs, what I didn't think I'd like about this play is what makes it so cleaver...a story about making it successfully without talent in Hollywood. The writer stretched beyond the imagination but kept us right with the characters. The director perfectly cast these actors, who delivered an emotionally connected relationships on stage, which made it easy to go all the way to the big pay off. I was thoroughly amused and stuck with me. The theater was a great space, but this play could handle an even larger audience setting. ... full review
